Abby’s Career Journey

Graduating from Today’s Dentist led me to a career that I love. I still get to work with children and help improve their lives!

Where were you doing before becoming a Dental Hygiene Assistant?

I was a Nanny to an amazing two year old little boy.

What was your experience like going through the Dental Assisting School?

It was great because of the small classes and lots of hand on experience. The instructors were very easy to talk to and always happy to help.

Why did you choose Today’s Dentist Dental Assisting School program?

I knew I wanted to go in the dental field and heard great things from family friends about the program. When I talked to Beckie for the first time over the phone she was professional and answered my 500 questions with ease! After the phone call I knew this program would be a perfect fit for me!  

What advice do you have for anyone thinking of entering the dental field?

It is a great career for people who like to work with other individuals and help them stay healthy. Make sure you are ready for lots of spit, haha!

Explain your career path since graduating from the program.

After graduating from the program, I was hired at Norge Dental Center as a Hygiene Assistant and it is where I took my first step into the dental world. I have learned so much and have been thinking about possibly furthering my dental career by one day attending Dental Hygiene School.
