Casey’s Career Journey
Where were you doing before becoming a Dental Hygiene Assistant?
I was attending Rappannock Community College full time and working at a local ice cream shop.
What was your experience like going through the Dental Assisting School?
My experience attending the program was very positive. I really enjoyed the smaller classroom setting. I could tell the instructors really valued being able to closely interact with each student because of this. We could each have one on one time if needed!
Why did you choose Today’s Dentist Dental Assisting School program?
I was referred by a family friend to the program. She spoke so highly of her experience from start to finish. She said she was “really glad she chose this school”. I chose Today’s Dentist based on her review.
What advice do you have for anyone thinking of entering the dental field?
Go into the dental field with an open mind and be quick on your feet! The world of dentistry is always changing and evolving so you will never be bored. There is always something to learn.
Explain your career path since graduating from the program.
I completed the program and was offered a position at Norge Dental Center as a Dental Hygiene Assistant right away. That was about six and a half years ago!
